no one is forcing you to participate. If it gets more people aware that indie record stores exist near them then I am all for it. I have been saving my money and me and three friends are gonna hit 4 different record stores in Houston area that saturday, and the browsing will be intense.

it is probably all the young downloaders on this board that need to get out and smell the wooden floor boards and the new vinyl sleeves and that anticipation of finding some hidden gold in the under browsed corner of the store, the buzz of finding something rare and beautiful and holding it in your hands.... you just can't get that feeling when downloading... the regular smell of your house, the lack of excercise walking to the store, the lack of any real human communication...
i didn't mean for my last post to sound negative but i re-read it and it did oh well... i just figure everyone on this board gets the same excitement as me when going into my favourite record store, but i know alot of people on here download so i figure not...
