Judging by this post and the one you linked to, you feel that you can affect lives and that lives can be affected my seemingly minor things. You feel a band can add 20 years to a life, and that an essay can save a life.

I'm not trying to say that isn't the case, because I am simply not in a position to do so. But based on my experience, I hope that you don't plan to test these methods in a truly life-or-death situation. If a train is coming towards you, please, get out of the way. Don't turn on your iPod.
