See what I think is funny is Modest Mouse didn't actually start sucking, per se, they just changed their sound, and people are so quick to label that as "selling out" or some insane bullshit. Why are people so set on their favorite bands remaining the same? Like The Mars Volta is making an "acoustic album" and some of their fans are all boo-hoo'ing that it might not be like the rest of their albums, but there are four other albums like that. So what if they go in a new direction, like, isn't that what the albums are for, to listen to them over and over again? They're not disposable materials or something.
