While it may be taking liberties, I don't see HaydenAsche's thread as being particularly attention-seeking. That kid is the nexus of controversy on this board, and likely gets more attention than any other forum member, both negative and positive. He really has no need to seek it.
I personally interpreted that thread as being a priority assessment/bitchy complaint about the quality of posts as of late. As many have already stated, the board is a bit dry lately, but that can't really be attributed to any members in particular. It sounded more to me like he was criticizing himself for wasting potentially productive time on a forum that isn't even currently very engaging.
That's my two cents on the matter.
The rest of you are pricks.
