I understand that, but really, you c'mon. This what we do here. Joking about something can sometimes be the best way to handle something as serious as death, and it isn't a sign of disrespect (which is actually what he asked us not to do, he didn't say not to make jokes).

Besides, he didn't come on here and say "Hey (blank) just died, let's discuss it and please be serious." It's a general thread about if somebody dies here, and it wasn't until later in the thread that he mentioned someone may have died, so I really see no need to be so serious about this.
