. Yeah, I am glad that ride is over. Jesus, it's at times like that I wish I owned a car.

I was having a chat w/one of my half-sisters today, and she was going on about the absurd ubiquity of Lady Gaga, La Roux etc (she works in "celeb" publishing, so she has to take an interest in this stuff). I think Lady G is a show-off extraordinaire, but I do admire her nerve. La Roux just sounds like some Italian Disco starlet from 1983. Apparently she has big hair too, according to half-sis.

And to round off, Dad Melly played the Kinks and The Carpenters today - big nuff respect to Dad M.
