Anybody who read the Landlord thread knew I was gonna buy something. I ended up trading in my Russian Big Muff and getting the Vextor version (not hand painted: cheaper) Fuzz Factory.
This is seriously the best distortion device I've ever played. It's so versatile; it can do really insane synthetic Atari like sounds or natural sounding high gain distortion. Great for noise making or straight ahead rockin'.
