no, shoe goo does not work like that. for skateboarding what you do with shoe goo is you make a protective layer over the side and toe that has been worn away from skating.. in all honesty it does not hold together busted shoes very well, but there is NOTHING else out there that you can use to fix the problem of a well used skate shoe.
