Well, I don't agree with that. And I don't see anything wrong with trying to sound lo-fi either. If you want your songs to sound messy and hissy and trebly, and the songs work in that format, more power to you.

I mean, Wavves is fun stuff on record, precisely because of the way he sculpts his sound on that format. There's no way in hell I'd want to listen to the songs the way he performs them live.
