If porkmarras can mention Vashti Bunyan then, by God, I can mention
Kate Bush and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts which both came out with new ones recently & blows Vashti Bunyan out of the water any day of the week.
Out of all the ones porkmarras listed (20 or so) Frank Sinatra, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Bedhead & Masonna are the only ones that deserve any notice.
And so what?Would that mean that you have more passion for music than i have?I don't think so atari.It just means that even though i like Robert Johnson,i simply shy away from patronizing people with the reminder that he's been an exceptional musician.Put it this way,i give anyone enough credit to assume that they certainly know who he is without me bangin' on about him.And besides,Mojo magazine is available either online or from your local newsagent(figuratively).
