that's right, they're actually see-through but the pigmented hair surrounding them makes it look grey.
i put mine on a piece of white paper and it basically disappeared. if i have my dad's genes, i'm screwed. apparently he started going seriously grey at 23. his mother turned completely white in about a year when she was 45.
