I expected the same, but I checked it out from the library, and I fucking love it. It's a lot more of a dumb rock album than anything else they ever did, but it works surprisingly well on that level. Barely even produced with a really cool droll delivery. I haven't liked anything Peter Murphy has done in forever, so I was pretty excited to find him on a good rock album.
