Also, I find it laughable how Americans will quite often say 'I'm 1/26th Peurto Rican, 4/8ths Welsh etc etc' when the majority of Europe just say they're from where they're from and if pushed will say, "well, my grand/parents are x, but I'm essentially y" rather than tersely fabricate an interesting heritage.
I do have Irish hair though.
