yeah, fair.
but usually when someone says "alleged victim" it seems to carry a connotation that they're lying and haven't been the victim of anything.
since polanksy pleaded guilty i'm sure there was enough evidence to show that she was most certainly a victim, lot's of murders never get solved but people never call the stiff an alleged victim
