I've been playing bass a lot too. I play it just like a guitar. Tremolo picking it like a mother fucker. Wouldn't it be ridiculous if I started a band where the guitar just played rhythmic-y almost-bass lines and then I played tremolo picked bass and insane bass solos with pinch harmonics and more wanky shit the entire time? I wonder if that's been done (well, I know it has, but probably not the way I'm thinking about it).
