Basically this. Pop is the new underground and you people are so mindlessly trendy its pathetic. Early in the decade people liked pop ironically, but now that irony is falling out of favor, you dropped it. Saying nothing about how commercial or soulless it is (because that's pretty subjective) a lot of this stuff downright sounds like shit. Miley Cyrus for one. I haven't listened to Beyoncé for a long time so I can't say anything about her good or bad.
