Itzahk Perlman playing
Berlioz: Overture to Béatrice et Bénédict
Elgar: Enigma Variations
Mendelssohn: Violin Concerto

or the Houston Grand Opera doing Wagner's Lohengrin

I am a huge Perlman fanatic, but I am slso a Wagner fanatic, and this is a tricky choice for me. while the opportunity to see Wagner's opera's staged in Houston does not come too often, especially Lohengrin which I really like, Mr Perlman also very arrely make appearances in Houston, and I fear if I do not see him now he may get sick with post-polio syndrome (which hits all polio sufferers eventually) and may never play here again.

I am leaning towards Perlman, but DAMN. what a dillema.
boring.. might I recommend a better investment?
