I dont know exactly what it is, in terms of what it does to you medically and etc.
but it's the kissing disease, you get it from sharing a drink or making out with someone who has it.
When I first got it I thought it was just a sore throat and then after a few days it got worse and worse and my throat was swollen and felt like knives were shooting upward in the back of my throat. Hurt to swallow, to drink, to eat...sucked ass. Then you get extremely tired and have no energy, it shuts off yr immune system so u have to be really careful around sick ppl or u'll get everything. It also makes yr spleen swollen, so I cant drink alcohol or excercise or lift anything heavy for awhile or I'll rupture my spleen and that isn't good, from what I hear...
So that's mono in a nutshell, it can last a week, a few weeks, a month, a few months, or longer...depending...I've had it for about 3 weeks now?
