read up on it. my mom worked at a cardiologist for 17 years, my cousin is an RN working in private practice. I know hospital admins and clinic admins, and while medicare is not perfect, it does pay out more often and more regularly than private health insurance. it covers more stuff than private health insurance. all elected officials get medical care under medicare if they choose, or if they are rich fucks they just choose to pay for it themselves.
