it's fully true, fighting against the beatles(and alot of other cultural things in general) turned the young the young generation against the government, so they when it was time for them to run it.....
everyone went and got beatles records on the black market anyways, anyone in their 50s will tell you that they hated being a criminal just because they wanted to listen to a stupid pop record
