My point is that European people, and especially British people, like to get on their high horse about healthcare, particularly when discussing it with Americans - regardless of the fact that our system, while it appears just, is deeply flawed on a practical, day-to-day level. I worked for a subsidiary of the NHS for five years and any country that tries to model their system on ours is in for a very bumpy ride.

We would never in a millions years plan to model our healthcare after yours. Your system is way too complicated to be implemented by our country. We're not actually doing healthcare reform, we're doing health insurance reform. The government is not going to run hospitals or anything
