That documentary reminds me of my turbulent youth. I grew up loving most of the bands mentioned on there. It was a very dark period but noone can deny how important it was for music.
The transition musicians made from the 70's was like no other.

It all went for a ball of shit when SAW pulled in halfway through the 80's and raped music for what it was worth. The 90's was a nightmare for Brit pop.
