I'm glad you hate them too.
I think they're annoying as fuck, and I hate how we have to hear about them for sooooo long before they even start. Then they start and we hear about it even more.
It also pisses me off that the Special Olympics are about fun, but the Olympics Olympics are all serious and, "My country is better than yours because we can run faster!"
If it was all in the spirit of fun, I wouldn't mind them so much. But right now I'm being bombarded with commercials advertising 2010 that ask me for money so our athletes can be all "awesome" and we can win all those damn gold metals and what not. Like it rreealllyyy matters. Give that money to some people who are starving.
Fucking bite me, you're not getting a single penny from me.
Long story short, I hate sports.
