People don't like Bikini Kill? Was that ever even an option?

Bikini Kill are musically conservative - from SYG? Did anyone here ever care about musical conservativism? I know there are a few here who aren't musically conservative in some way (and I wouldn't necessarily include myself in that group) but... well, Bikini Kill are just great. I don't care that their music isn't as radical as something else, they're just very good, aren't they? If Dinosaur (yawn) jr or My Bloody (yawn) Valentine were women who talked about feminism, would they suddenly be dismissed as not having invented avant-garde wheels?

Although I'd side with Le Tigre, just because theirs was one of the best shows I've seen in the last ten years.
