i like when separate stories get loosely connected, like in bure baruta or slacker. you don't nescessarily have to have meaningful interaction between the characters from the different plots, like if you had a story in a convenience store someone from a different story could buy something from there and leave before the robbery or whatever, and people watching would be like "hey that's the guy with the mike patton shirt on the bus"
or you could add another story where there's a mike patton performance and the people from all the stories show up, because obviously anyone cool enough to make a movie about would never miss a patton show
