I rarely go see a movie in a theater (heck, I rarely even watch them at home any more). When I do, it has to be something pretty spectacular. And I'm even willing to forego the story if the visuals are worthwhile.

I went to see Speed Racer for crying out loud--and it WAS visually very interesting. Horrible movie and pretty much only worth watching on a BIG screen to get the impact of the visuals.

Some people tend to confuse a good spectacle with a good movie. When yr lucky, the come together.
