I'm not sure how I feel about cats. They are aware of their supposed superior intelligence and flaunt it in an almost taunting manner; many people consider this attribute appealing, and therefore prefer cats as pets. I suspect that cats mock these humans for being so gullible, and while perfectly capable of living independently, take advantage of said humans and revel in the completely effortless existence they enjoy from being completely supported and pampered.
Perhaps that speaks more of cat owners than cats. Either way.
