Bah, one of the most terrible concert experiences that I ever had was when I saw Jello & the Melvins in Cologne. It was so fucked up.

Ever gone to a punk concert to hear the überpunk frontman of the band congratulate you on your glorious goverment and country (in this case the pseudopacifist SPD & Germany) and suggests you to re-elect your grandious leader, (Schroeder), while pleasing the anti-american crowd* with silly, cliche-ridden remarks about the average american? I did.

*german punks are, sadly, pretty anti-american in the majority. for example, german punk band Slime, which holds a legendary status among a larger part of the german punk crowd, have some racist anti-american songs like "Yankees raus!" (featering a cover where a punk hand stuffs a hamburger in the face of an american clerk) and "USA, SA, SS" (in which the USA is put on the same level like the Nazis, a popular way of thinking in Germany, to reduce the german past)..
