I have been in an environment experiencing the mosquitoesque annoyance of television humming in the background for every waking hour of the day from being without a TV for a year. I never realized how sound-polluting these hunks of weak minded addiction could be. From the so-called broad chroma of the crowd's applause and "woooo"ing for Dr.Oz to Oprah's bellowing vocals. I seriously can't stand the sound of clapping anymore.
