You are so right about teachers having a rewarding job. I have said time and time again how lucky I am to have a job I love. But teaching, like so many other fields, can just burn you out. Then it's not rewarding any more, just a job you almost dread.
Getting together over drinks or weed to bitch, piss and moan, talk shit, etc. is a GREAT way to let off steam. It's not dull at all. Really, it's therapeutic.
