so they arrested a building owner on $1,000,000 bail (reduced to $100k) and put out $200-500k warrants on three other business owners, ALL on Hollywood boulevard, for putting up illegal supergraphics (enormous billboards and 9 story posters)...
these things plaster the buildings in West LA and Hollywood, and also the area by the Staple's Center.. people in LA have been complaining about this kind of issue for 75 years!
what a coincidence that the week they shut down Hollywood Blvd for this Oscars bullshit that the city attorny puts the heat on supergraphics, but ONLY those illegal ones put up in the direct vicinity of the Kodak theater? can we say corruption Sierra Leone style? BULLSHIT! fuck the oscars and all this disgusting commercialism, these are the kind of events in LA that I find rather absurd..
