ummmm furniture shops?

personally, 'm a massive fan of second hand furniture, but it means you really have to do the trek around town to all of them before you find something 'interesting' or nice that isn't laminate(I like wood.. nice heavy natural looking as possible wood.. or retro cute.. I like furniture I can have a relationship with.. um yes Im strange. It has to have a nice *feel* Home environment means so much to me.)

There are a few asian import places in the abbotsford type area.. I like chunky thai/south asian/indian looking stuff also.. There usedto be a small-ish imports shop in Oakleigh, but I'm not sure if it is still there. Last time I visited it was almost 5 years ago.

There is a made in japan warehouse in south melbourne, and an Ishka warehouse in Brunswick? I think? somewhere near there. I'm not sure how I feel about the latter though. Sometimes they have nice stuff, but I'm sure they sell it way overpriced compared to what they are paying for it. : / Best bet is to shop around.

That is shopping for my style though, not yours..
