You think iPads wont be standard in 20 years, or even 10 years time?
8-track users in the 70s would have said the same thing about digital music.
I personally think I'll always prefer a hard copy of literature, but I was once against downloading music too, which is how I get most of my music these days. Books in the future will become antiques and secondhand bookstores will go ramped and charge obscene prices for things you buy today. Even libraries are starting to move into online-digital lending, and you've been able to 'borrow' films online for awhile now. It's the way of the future.
I wont be buying one just yet, but I will most likely embrace them fully in the future.
