After the rush on edible stuff, people lock themselves uo.
I went to the baker (who's my next-door neighbour) today.
She was quite bored but felt happy she had to work rather than stay in her 40 square meter apartment.
The boring thing for her is that there's so few customers they don't know what to do. They're going to reduce the choice on pastry for instance. They'll narrow it down to the most bought stuff.
And they're talking about reducing the opening hours so that no sales person has to stand there wondering what she/he's doing there.
I'm on the fringes of a 12 000-soul city.
Can't help thinking about life in Paris now, in those tiny apartments.
