The world needs to see Mark Ibold on tv! They should've let him play bass and had Kim do some slide guitar stuff instead.

funny, there was a girl behind us at the early dc show who was quite adamant on hearing chapel hill. bwaha. |

Chapel Hill has been one of my favorites since I started listening to them. I've pretty much just accepted the fact that I will probably never hear it or Wish Fullfillment.

I remember MTV using The Empty Page and Sunday as background music for some of their shows...like Made. Yeah, I watch it.

Yeah, all of the girls on the show either want to be Prom Queen, or they want to do extreme sports.
True Life can be interesting at times as well. I liked the "I Don't Fit In" episode, with that boy who loved the New York Dolls, but didn't have any friends because of it. Ah, the story of my life.

+I for one loved the [performance on Letterman. They sounded fanfuckingtastic. the song sounded thick and delicious and noisy and fucking wonderful. I WILL SEE THEM THURSDAY!!!! YAY!
Letterman is god. sonic youth is god. there is no god but these when I saw sonic youth in their pre-tour warm up gigs for sonic nurse tour, they played WISH FULFILMENT and I came in my pants at least 6 times.
