i used to hate the contortions but they are so much fun!! my favorites are teenage jesus and mars, i love all of them but tj&j and mars have this extra something to them, dna are a tad pretentious and, frankly, a really slight turn off.

The contortions bored me too until I got a live LP of theirs, then I loved them. DNA was great too though.

has anyone heard Jules Baptiste's Red Decade? apparently they played at the first noisefest at white columns. dude has my last name, so i looked them up, and it ended up being some pretty good shit.
