I don't see how posting a picture of what Robert Plant and Jimmy Page look like now is a valid argument.

Look at Gang of Four. Those guys are all pretty old and the Gang of Four reunion fucking ruled.

I saw some of the videos of the show the other night. They sounded pretty good. As good as you can on a pirated youtube video really.

They are the greatest classic rock band ever. They could have had 10 reunion tours by now and sold out every show. Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, and the Who do that. But Led Zeppelin never overstayed their welcome. I think they have higher standards. And if they tour again, I think it would be because they are ready to rock the shit out of everyone once again.

If the ticket prices are fucking ridiculous I'm not gonna see them though.

What is this, like 1975 or something? Are we trapped in an episode of That 70s Show?

Just to get myself flamed - isn't Sonic Youth an '80s band? Not a whole hell of a lot younger than the '70s bands if we're just rippin' on what decade they came out of. Maybe Gilmore Girls will reunite so Led Zep can make an appearance there. That said you can download the show at the dime and hate it all you want for free. Just went up last night.

I don't see the point in paying hundreds/thousands of dollars to see a band simply because they're "legendary". Especially when you know it's a gamble.

might pay 100, definitely not thousands, but i wouldn't be going "simply" because they're legendary, but also because they're awesome. there isn't a person on this board who doesn't know at least 10 zeppelin songs, even if they don't know that they do. and they probably know words to songs they didn't know they did. why? because the songs are fuckin' catchy. and good. and memorable.

and every show you go to is a gamble - prince was one of the worst shows i ever saw. then he ruled the next time i saw him.

I would probably pay $100, no more than that. This just doesn't excite or seem like a big deal to me, like it seems to a lot people out there. There are so many other bands I'd rather see than Led Zeppelin. Maybe if I was 14 and this was 1983.

ello. I WAS ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES WHO GOT IN TO SEE LED ZEPPELIN IN LONDON FOR THE FIRST TIME IN NEARLY 30 YEARS. WAS IT A GREAT GIG!? WHAT DO YOU THINK. OF COURSE IT WAS........... This is the concert ticket from the show 20 million people also wanted to go too. It's from the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute show tonight 10.12.07 at the O2 Arena London. I paid a small fortune to get into this gig . I am selling my ticket and a couple of other pretty rare items from tonights gig. I am not however selling my wristband which can be seen in the photo. The show featured Led Zep and many of the support acts. Chris Squire, Alan White, of YES Keith Emerson and Carl Palmer of ELP. Ronnie Wood, Bill Wyman, Paul Rogers, Paulo Nutini and Foreigner. . I accept Paypal send to keylayer@hotmail.com £££ $$$ and EUROS. uk CHEQUES AND P.O's.S. shipping £1 in the UK $6 internationally.

The live shows from before they started doing Stairway are fantastic (i.e 68-69)- as one trader friend once said this is some serious punk rock. Dazed and Confused is an amazing song. Sadly their body of work has been reduced by the Spectacle to Stairway and Moby Dick.

to have been 21 in 1975 with a hit of windowpane and a Zep ticket
