There was this documentary on the BEEE BEEE SEEE last week about the American soldiers who defected during the Korean war, it was really good. Anyone see it? |

It was well interesting. There was this unsettling ambiguity cos he became a film star in all the propoganda playing "American bastards", and he still lives there. He had the whole unflinching love for Kim Jong Il, and his mate who defected at a similar time eventually went back to the USA and said all this stuff about him, and you couldnt tell if it was true. Very interesting

And upon reading that, the film was nominated at the Sundance Film Festival. If youre interested in the whole thing i would highly reccomend it, its very good.
