I was going to write something about my indifference or lack of caring, just to be a dick, but that's really fucking shitty, man. I hope he pulls through and I hope you feel better. I know what destroying your room and flipping out is like. I had a complete mental breakdown a few weeks ago. I physically shook and cryed for nearly 4 days straight. I slept on the fucking floor of my car out in the middle of the country. I understand you. Fuck, man. I'm sorry.

it's been said before but you really have to be strong and support your friend, don't be scared to talk to him about his illness.
i hope he's going to be fine. |

Crypto, I've never talked with you but I'm here for ya. My uncle got diagnosed a couple of weeks ago with oral cancer as well. He's the only uncle I'm close to. I know how it is. Our family is having a benefit for him in a few weeks.

Must be going around or something. One of my best friends has been undergoing chemo for the last few months on account of this shit. On top of that, I just found out my Grandmother's going to have to have a masectomy for much the same reason within a week or two. Grandfather died of it a little over a year ago. Cancer is balls, man.

Alright, I don't know the cause of the breakdown, so I'm not gonna harsh you about crying and shaking or whatever. That is, unless it was because you had to sleep in your car. That'd be lame, emo, over-reactive, all that shit. Personally, I lived in the backseat of my car for the first 6 months of 06. Transformative and wholly (well, mostly) positive experience, I'd say. Had some wild times, chicks really kind of dug it, the cops gave me a ticket to ride every time I was pulled over, I had more free time to concentrate and work on the things I wanted to, etc... Hell, I'd recommend it to any and all for a try, at least. |

Sorry to hear that. Hope your friend will be alright. Good that they caught it while it was operable.

That is such shitty news.
One of my friends has been being treated for cancer, and after having the infected areas removed and having several sessions of chemo has just been told today that the disease is in remission. She has been incredibly positive throughout, and has been helped throughout by having loving caring people around her, which I'm convinced has been an aid to her fighting the disease. I hope your friend benefits from the same and has the same outcome. |
