I'm thinking it's better than both Shapes and Exploded Drawing, actually. Exceptionally good rock album.

Yeah, I'd agree. Exploded Drawing has some of their best songs on it ("Feather of Forgiveness") but it's a bit too long. This is about even with Exploded to me. And obviously it destroys Shitshapes.

I like some of it. The rest is kind of skip-able but it's a reunion album, after all. I do think much of this would sound fantastic live, though.

I've listened to it a lot, still want to listen to it some more, but it is a good album, though I wouldn't say it is better than Exploded Drawing because while Drawing is fairly long, it does have some of the best Polvo songs.
I'd rank them as Today's Active Lifestyles, Cor-Crane Secret, Exploded Drawing, In Prism, and then Shapes. ~Jeremy~

I think Polvo's best work is definitely their ep's (though the same could be said for most bands). Short, to-the-point, and filled with great songs (even the "filler" on the This Eclipse ep is amazing). BAT RADAR, CHANDELIERS, TITLETRACK, SOLITARY SET, etc. Just amazing.

Having just listened to Exploded Drawing, I actually think In Prism might be slightly better but that's because I've listened to it a lot since it came out. If it's not better, they're equal, I say.
