I love FEathers, but not so much into the earlier 3 piece stuff. Feathers is light years ahead of anything else they've done, so this makes me curious as to how they got so fucking good on this this one. The production, the tones, the dynamics, the songs, the playing, the overall sound, are awesome. Cannot wait until they put out a new one

"Feathers" is a fantastic CD, and they were awesome when I saw them last year supporting Black Mountain.

brilliant band, seen them twice, supporting dinosaur jr and just before the new record, old growth, came out - really brilliant live experience, its all thick fuzzy wah guitars and smoke and green lights and whoaaaa
feathers is my favourite album, though the instrumental "greensky greenlake", off their first album (i think) is a particularly amazing song. |
