these were also on mix-tape #5.

1. Should we take this as a signal that SOMETHING new will be released soon? These mixtapes have tended to precede releases. (BTW, I always thought that that the CD reissue of SY should have had the backwards tracks on it.)

2. Yeah weird that Vol 9 is just the backwards tape and that those tracks were on Vol 5

The first time they put these tracks up was back when the self-titled reissue initially came out, so it's probably just tied in with the re-release. Haha, and here I was thinking "at least they didn't put them on the CD!!". I'll take the fantastic live gig from '81, thanks.

in my dream re-issue, the first disc was EP + backwards side two, and 2nd disc is the live show from 81, and maybe some of those early early compilation tracks.
