There's a bunch of good rock bands in Belgium since the 90's.
My favourite was dEUS, but when Rudy Trouvé 's left, little by little I loose interest in this band, and now I'm not aware of the current bands. Do you know any good belgian rock band you'd like to highlight ? Discuss, please. |

Belgium had as great a punk scene as any country in mainland Europe during the early explosion....The Kids, Hubble Bubble, Raxola, The Nixe, etc. Check the "Bloodstains Across Belgium" volumes.

Has anyone heard about Gore Slut ?
It's a belgian indie-rock band (with Rudy Trouvé) from the 90's. I'm looking for their albums, very difficult to find here. |

You should check out Mauro Pawlowski and bands: Evil Superstars, Otot, Omnobula, Mauro, Mauro Pawlowski and the Grooms.
We have an ever more interesting NON -Rock scene: Ignatz, Kiss The Anus of A Black Cat, Bear Bones Lay Low, Silvester Anfang, Rivercrest, Dolphins into the future, Hardline Elephants, Ludo Mich, Göör, Guernica, ROT, ...... |

Zita Swoon is still around but I lost interest in that, guess the same way with dEUS.
With NON Rock scene I meant Folk/Psych/out-rock/core/experimental and the usual. Belgium has a real fuckin awesome scene concerning that and definitely worth checking out if you're into that. |

Thanks a lot, Jeff.
The same for me with Zita Swoon, they became too much... "disco-jazz"??? Do you have any info about Gore Slut ? I read they sounded like Dinosaur Jr. Is it true ? |

Soulwax - NY excuse is a very catchy song.
E - Talking is even better but the video is quite annoying. I recommend the album
