As i've promised to Sheriff Rhys Chatman here is a wonderful recording of Caspar Brotzmann from 1995, uploaded recently on Dime. I thought about posting the links here, since there are not many Caspar Brotzmann Massaker shows circulating (or even recorded). This is a must have for every Caspar, Melvins, Boris drony kinda thing fans (an not only)
Artist: Caspar Brötzmann Massaker --- Date: March 15, 1995 City: Carrboro • North Carolina • USA Venue: Cat's Cradle Status: Live Performanc --- Setlist: 01 - The Tribe | http://www.sendspace.com/file/mqerjx 02 - Hunter Song | http://www.sendspace.com/file/qp6478 03 - Kerkesong | http://www.sendspace.com/file/ofjf42 04 - Bohmen | http://www.sendspace.com/file/7xo1fu 05 - Massaker | http://www.sendspace.com/file/vi21z5 --- Line-up: Caspar Brötzmann: Guitar, Vocals Eduardo Delgado Lopez: Bass, Vocals Danny Arnold Lommen: Drums, Percussion --- Notes: - Source: AUD#1 | CSB • Denon DTR-80P - Generation: DAT(M) • FLAC - Lineage: Core Sound Binaurals • Core Sound Battery Box | Low-end Roll-off • Denon DTR-80P (LP mode) • DAT(M) (16 Bit | 32 Khz) • Tascam DA-20 • M-Audio Audiophile USB 2.0 • HDD • WaveLab 5.0 (Fades | Normalize) • CDWave (Tracking) • WAV (16 Bit | 44.1 Khz) • Flac FrontEnd 1.7.1 • FLAC 1.1.3A (L6) --- - Recorded by: MrPember - Transferred by: MrPember - Encoded by: MrPember --- - Seeded: www.dimeadozen.org by MrPember on January 17, 2008. --- Recording notes: - Recorded with the microphones clipped on glasses - Minor flaws at 0:39 in Track 1 --- Additional notes | Taper's notes: - Ear-splitting, intense set from Caspar Brötzmann (Peter Brötzmann's son). They were one of five bands on the bill, co-headlining with Killdozer. Sound on this is excellent, with almost no crowd noise. There were maybe 150 people there for theset, but everyone was sort of hypnotized by the German guy with shirt unbuttoned to the navel and the medallion on his chest with the left-handed Strat turned up to 11. - Warning: Listening to this recording at loud decibal levels may result in a melted face. INFO FILE: http://www.sendspace.com/file/w18oou FFP: http://www.sendspace.com/file/txu0ej - I'll upload the rest of the tracks in the next hours, since my upload speed this morning is very, very low. I've tried many file-sharing sites, but only sendspace, let me upload the whole file without closing connection after uploading more than half of the song. |
