Man I love this thing. I just queued "Rockers" and "Stranger Than Paradise." Are these good? I can't imagine they are not, since the latter is a Jarmusch flick, and the first, well, it's just a bunch of reggae music

I use Netflix and they always have what I want, but I've kind of run out of stuff to watch.
I've been meaning to rewatch both 24 Hour Party People (movie about Factory Records) and Dig! (movie about The Brian Jonestown Massacre). then again, maybe I should just buy them... |

Dig! was about BJM? For some reason I was thinking it was about Apples In Stereo... I've never seen it though, and I'm not sure why I was even thinking that...

I'd buy a movie about the Apples too!
they aren't my favorite Elephant6 band (that would be Olivia Tremor Control), but they're pretty damn good! not sure how exciting that movie would be though.... "sweeet! we just got a gig for the powerpuff girls movie!!!" Dig! is one of the coolest "documentary" type movies ever. Anton Newcombe is totally my rock-star hero. SRSLY? ya rly. even if you don't like BJM, the movie is a smorgesbord of drugged out freak kung fu music action. queue now! |
