Today I'm going to see David Lynch give a talk, and then there's some weird music thing afterwards by Donovan (?!), anyway, I'm a huge Lynch fan and very excited about this.
Just thought I'd share that...

Donovan? Oh yeah, the next Dylan, I'd forgotten about him. I thought he was doing supermarket grand openings or something.

From what I can gather, it's not just the music that's going to be weird.

I saw this back in January at the Kodak Theater. It was pretty cool. Lynch was awesome
I like some of Donovan's music, but his performance was pretty sad. He name dropped a lot as if to say "Remember me? I was with all those cool guys too!" And when he sang "Happiness Runs" over and over with a picture of children holding hands behind him was when I decided to leave. Lynch will be a lot of fun though, so enjoy that.

Hey, cool. Out of interest, did Donovan come on after Lynch? I might have to bait out on the Donovan section, think that might be a bit painful!

Yep, Blue Bob's cool. Lynch's music on the Inland Empire soundtrack is great if you haven't checking it out. It's kinda hard to listen to it whilst watching the film so I'd definately recommend getting the soundtrack.
Also, most people have probably heard this, but the Eraserhead soundtrack is great.

The singer Donovan said he’ll open the "Invincible Donovan University" in Scotland to make sure students get a well-rounded education in all of the Transcendental Meditation arts. His pal, the director David Lynch, said that since Scotland is so small, only 250 yogics would be needed to "protect Scotland from its enemies and to bring peace, to stop violence and drug abuse."
