Last night I played my first show with the dark psychedelic folk band It...check us out at www.myspace.com/it (the only song I played on of those recordings was our cover of John Lennon's "Imagine", and it's not one of my better performances)...
Aside from some techincal difficulties (I'll ALWAYS do a soundcheck beforehand from now on), it went alright, and the audience seemed to like us...however, those of you with ring mod experience: how do I keep the thing from self-osciliating too much? On a different note, I also finally saw "The Ring" for the first time last night...OK flick, though it wasn't actually all that scary until the part at the end where the girl came out of the TV... |

Do you wake up at night and wish you were me in the spotlight?

Actually, I have nightmares about being you, wake up screaming, and then peacefully fall back asleep with the knowledge that it was just a dream.

Right on, man. Soundchecks are good, but don't always happen. Once you play alot you learn that you have to get used to less than perfect sound on stage.
