yeah, 2 filmers and Mr. Tripod! _________________________________ That would make one camera filming the guitarist, one camera filming the projectioniste and a Tripod for the drifting screen in our case, is the idea I had. Any extra would be awesome though! |

It's handy to have a shot from the back, of the whole podium.
Maybe a good idea for next months gig.

Which coïncedentally will be the same venue as where Vashti was shot. A wooden floor like gallery room, reallly beautifull place. Stage itself will most likely be removed. All ground seated i think - perfect. |

a question i always wanted to ask:
when "you guys" leave a camera on a tripod a few meters away from the front of the stage aren't you scared as hell that someone could just take it and run away? nice work, i'd like to do something similar with the mono gig i'll see next month.

We used a fairly heavy tripod so it wouldn't be that easy to just grab it and run. Also enough people from the venue we know very well so they would put a stop at it if it would happen. Also the tripod was always backed to the wall. Zaal Belgie isn't just any venue as well, they have a great program every year (some real special shit happening there once and a while), I think i know about half the crowd that's always there. I would be more carefull in any other venue in Belgium though. |

understood...yeh,with mono my plan was to stay seated on the front row with a camera equipped with fisheye lens on a little tripod pointed at the stage and another camera in my hands for closeups and such, and maybe record with a decent stereo mic or with minidisc from the soundboard, i'll see what i can do, i never used a camera in in my entire life....shame on me...
