True!
But I have to say that i have NO problem with their more song oriented records, my opinion is that the songs on The Eternal are weak as songs. I felt Rather Ripped way more actually. Pink Steam is one of my all time favorites. SY´s position as neither pop/rock nor Avant garde, but somewhere inbetween is what make them special in my eyes. And of course damn good songs!! (usually) Ill stop.... |

The Eternal is a great, great album. I really liked it. I must say, though that the way the tracks are ordered isn't very cohesive. So I enjoy more playing the album with my own tracklisting.

Spill! (Recently I made MY Abbey Road. Fuckin the way Beatles ordered that album is a crime. But then, I don't think I've ever heard an album where I wouldn't reorder it.)

I thought What We Know sounded so good on Jools Holland, but not on the record. The main guitar riff sounds a bit different?
But thats what you get when you listen to live versions first i guess... |
