The breweries I listed are must visit spots if you are sight seeing around Lake Michigan. Each has it's own personality and off the charts delicious beer! My pick's are: Michigan - Bell's Brewery - Bell's Best Brown, Two Hearted - New Holland - The Poet (oatmeal stout) Indiana -Three Floyd's - Can't go wrong. Ask about the Dark Lord. -Shoreline - The oatmeal stout or Beltaine. Wisconsin is the home to the old domestic beers from german athens, better known as Milwaukee. I've never visited and usually drink the other stuff or co2 cans of stout. thanks peace! |

My work isn't too far away from Three Floyds. I don't do Pale Ales anymore. Those things tear up my insides.
On Sunday I just had this beer called Outlawger by Local Option. Not bad at all...a really delicious beer. |

There's a pub chain in the UK called Wetherspoons that sells microbrewed beer from the States. It publishes a monthly magazine which articles US microbrewerys.
